EXPERIENCE ISRAEL WITH WISE TEMPLE, JULY 7-16, 2024

Join Wise Temple and the Cincinnati Jewish Community on an unforgettable visit to Israel, July 7-16, 2024. Wise Temple will host three trips, with each offering a unique itinerary, bringing the best possible experience to all, no matter your life stage and experience visiting Israel.

Wise Temple Tours

All itineraries include:
- Visits to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem
- Optional visits to the Dead Sea and Masada
- Tour of Yad Vashem, the national memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust
- Tikkun Olam volunteer projects
- Celebrating Shabbat dinner together
- Meetings with US Ambassador to Israel, Thomas R. Nides, and President of Israel, Isaac Herzog.
Itineraries do NOT include:
- Flights
  - Book on your own directly with your preferred airline, through third party travel sites, or through a travel agent service.
  - Flights booked must:
    - Arrive by Monday, July 8, 2024 before noon Israel time
    - Depart Tel Aviv no earlier than 10:30pm on Monday, July 15, 2024 (Monday is a touring day)
- Travel Insurance (recommended, but not required):
  - Book on your own
  - Recommend purchasing within 21 days of trip registration to account for any pre-existing conditions
  - Travel insurance should be taken out based on your out-of-pocket expenses, and should NOT include the value of any Jewish Foundation grant funding you expect to receive.
  - Some popular companies to consider: Allianz, Travelex, Travel Guard
  - Compare multiple companies and policies at once at InsureMyTrip or SquareMouth

Tour Costs and Details

$5,985 per person (double occupancy), $7,675 per person (single occupancy), $5,345 (triple occupancy) not including airfare, gratuities, travel insurance
Generous grants are being offered by The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati to subsidize the trip. Those meeting the requirements will qualify to receive $4,000 towards the trip, with a family maximum subsidy of $12,000. - Please apply for grant subsidies after registering for the trip.
Price includes:
- 7 nights’ accommodations
- Arrival/departure transfer & VIP assistance at the airport
- Daily breakfast, 3 lunches & 3 dinners; water on the bus
- All site entrance & program fees
- A personal program manager who will take care of all logistics and ensure a successful and seamless travel experience
- 8 days of touring with a tour guide and 7 days of touring in a luxury, air-conditioned bus.

Registration:

Information Sessions:

Rabbi Kamrass and representatives from the Jewish Federation led initial informational meetings in person and virtually in April and May. During these sessions, they reviewed tour itineraries, registration logistics, flight booking, subsidy applications, and answered questions from those in attendance.
