When homelessness occurs, the most basic needs go unmet. You can help by preparing, cooking and serving a warm meal to the men staying at the Shelterhouse while they search for housing and employment. The Shelterhouse is Cincinnati’s largest homeless shelter. Volunteers must be age 12+.
In 2019, we were privileged to be hosted by the Zion Temple First Pentecostal Church in Avondale to celebrate the occasion of their church receiving an historic designation, in part because of our synagogue's history on their site.
