Following our Erev Shavuot Service, join Zach Berg (a certified cheese professional, and co-owner of Detroit-based Mongers’ Provisions) as he guides us through a Shavuot cheese tasting and fascinating session of learning and experiencing. Zach will walk us through each of the four cheeses he brings and a little bit of chocolate to finish it off. This presentation will aim to connect you to the people and places our cheeses come from. We will also explore why Shavuot is a dairy holiday and some great ‘wheys’ to celebrate.
