Reflecting on Fifty Years of Women in the Rabbinate: a conversation between Rabbi Kamrass and Rabbi Thomashow. This past May, Rabbi Sally Priesand marked the 50th anniversary of her Ordination from the historic Cincinnati Campus of HUC-JIR. We had the privilege of hearing Rabbi Priesand’s own reflections on such a milestone in May. Rabbi Kamrass and Rabbi Thomashow will present a rejoinder to those reflections, add their own perspectives on the significance of these decades of women in the rabbinate, and tie it all in to the celebration of receiving Torah anew.
