Hornstein Seminar on Anti-Semitism, Holocaust & Resilience: An Intergenerational Learning Experience for Parent and High School Student (Session #1)

Session 1 | Types of Anti-Semitism and its History | As a growing reality in this country, anti-Semitism and the Holocaust is a complex topic that our teens will need to understand as part of their preparation for college and adulthood. Participation in this seminar will require BOTH a parent (or grandparent) and their High School Student in Grade 10, 11 or 12 and will mean consistent participation in all four seminars as well as a one-day trip to the National Holocaust Memorial and Museum in Washington D.C. Wise Temple will pay the student’s round trip airfare to Washington DC through the Hornstein Fund, and their parent/grandparent will be responsible for their own airfare as well as meals and METRO transportation in D.C. for themselves and for their child.
