Amy Taghiof
LIBRARIAN
Amy is very excited about returning to librarianship after a 30 year hiatus.
During that time she raised a daughter, was an outdoor educator at the Cincinnati Nature Center, and coordinated and taught outdoor programs and classes for a national retailer.
Having studied with Rabbi Fuchs and Rabbi Kamrass at Xavier University, Amy holds a Bachelor’s of History from Xavier and a Master’s of Science in Library Science from the University of Kentucky. She has worked at Xavier University, Boone County Public Library, and George Mason University, with a focus on reference librarianship, electronic library resources, and instruction. She looks forward to increasing engagement between the library and the Wise Community. Amy is an active member of Wise Temple. In her spare time, you’ll find Amy at the symphony or out hiking on a trail.
