DESCRIPTION:Join us for this special Shabbat service as we formally install Rabbi Anna Burke! \nOriginally from Cranston\, Rhode Island\, Rabbi Burke has been a proud member of the Wise Temple team since 2023 as the Director of Member Engagement. She moved to Cincinnati in 2018 to attend Hebrew Union College where she earned her M.A. in Jewish Education in 2021 and was ordained as a rabbi in 2023. As part of her studies\, Rabbi Burke lived in Israel for two years and earned her B.A. in Jewish Studies from Northeastern University in Boston. \nAs of June 1\, Rabbi Burke has taken over the role of Assistant Rabbi. In her continued role at Wise Temple\, Rabbi Burke takes pride in leading Young Family Involvement (YoFI)\, creating meaningful connections with our youngest congregants and their families through engaging programs and services. Beyond her work with families\, she is dedicated to fostering relationships with adults across the congregation through Adult Engagement and Women of Wise. \nAs we welcome Rabbi Burke\, we also celebrate her husband\, Rand\, and their son\, Mason\, who have been immersed in the Cincinnati Jewish community since 2018. \nAlong with recognizing Rabbi Burke and her family\, the evening will feature remarks from guest speaker\, Rabbi Sarah Mack of Temple Beth-El in Providence\, Rhode Island\, who has seen Rabbi Burke through meaningful milestones and lifecycle events. \nFollowing the service\, please join us for a celebratory oneg generously sponsored by Women of Wise.

DESCRIPTION:Presented by: Amy Katz \nHow does one age wisely\, open doors to new opportunities\, and effectively navigate life’s challenges? \nThrough this six-session course\, open to congregants 55 and older\, we will come together for authentic\, meaningful\, and honest conversations.
