Jewish Parenting Program

Why Do Good Kids Use Drugs? (And What Can Parents Do About It?)

Sunday, November 18
9:30 - 10:45 AM

The devastating opioid epidemic is all over the news and has affected people of every age and background, including those in our own community. Everyone thinks they are immune to the issue until it becomes personal. Whether we worry about opioids in particular, or drugs in general, we should be asking ourselves: Why do good kids use drugs? How do we begin this conversation and at what age?

This Jewish parenting program at Wise Temple will address all of these questions, providing resources and guidance from trained professionals in the field, including Dr. David Baum, PsyD, LICDC, as well as a Jewish perspective on the issue from our rabbis.

Coffee and bagels provided.

While not required, RSVP is very helpful for our experts to customize the presentation to the group’s needs. To register, contact eperry@wisetemple.org.
