Civic Engagement Lobby Day, with RAC Ohio

Wednesday, November

9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
(7:00 AM – 4:30 PM for those riding the bus)
The Ohio Statehouse Atrium
1 Capitol Square, Columbus

Put your values and your voices to work.

Be one of the hundreds of other Reform Jews throughout Ohio who will travel to Columbus to lobby our state legislators in a bipartisan manner on two important issues: Gun Violence Prevention and Criminal Justice Reform.

We will study, learn, be trained in lobbying skills and civic engagement, then act on this in direct conversation with our legislators.
Civic Engagement@Wise is an effort focused on bringing Reform Jewish values to policies on local, state and national levels. Lobby Day is in partnership with RAC Ohio (the Reform Movement’s Religious Action Center focused on Ohio issues).

For those who don’t wish to drive, there will be the option of a bus for Wise Temple members only. Bus will depart Wise Center at 7:15 am, and return approximately 4:30 pm. Cost: $25/person, with limited seating, so first come, first served.  (Bus registration is now closed – please contact Alex Burte to inquire about space openings).
