High Holy Day Mitzvah Bag Project
Saturday, September 18

Fill your grocery bags with food for the Freestore/Foodbank.

Don’t forget to bring your grocery bag to Wise Center or Plum Street Temple on Yom Kippur morning

Lighthouse Youth Services (Brotherhood sponsored)
Thursday, September 23 ~ 5:30 PM-7:30 PM
Thursday, December 16 ~ 5:30 PM-7:30 PM

Prepare and share dinner, play basketball, and listen to what’s on the minds of the young men in this community center.

Freestore/FoodBank 
Saturday, October 16 ~ 1:00 PM-4:00 PM
Saturday, December 4 ~ 1:00 PM-4:00 PM                     

Help receive, sort and pack donated food items for the FreeStore/FoodBank.

Bethany House
Sunday, October 24 ~ 9:00 AM-11:30 AM

Volunteer to prepare and host Brunch for women and children at the emergency shelter. After brunch, participate in arts & crafts and fun activities with the kids. (Ages 9+, ages 9-16 must be accompanied by an adult).

Over-the-Rhine Soup Kitchen
Sunday, November 21 ~ 9:30 AM-1:00 PM

Prepare and serve hot lunches to Cincinnati’s homeless and less fortunate neighbors. (Ages 10+, ages 10–16 must be accompanied by an adult).

Thanksgiving Cooked Turkey and Pie Collection
Drop off at Wise Center Sunday, November 21 ~  9:00 AM-12:00 PM

Donate cooked turkey and pie to the Over-the–Rhine Soup Kitchen for
holiday meals.

Bedtime Bundles Collection (Sisterhood sponsored)
November 21-December 19

Create a bundle of love and care for babies and young children for the
YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter.

St. Francis Seraph Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen
Wednesday, November 24 ~ 4:00 PM-5:30 PM

Our volunteers serve and clean up as approximately 200 guests are welcomed for dinner.  (Ages 12+, ages 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult).

Wise Up Blood Drive Sunday, December 5
9:00 AM-3:00 PM

Share your good health this holiday season by giving blood. (Ages 17+ and
a minimum of 100 pounds; age 17 must have permission of parent)

Help us be gracious hosts as we welcome homeless families served by IHN.  Our classrooms become bedrooms, our Program Room becomes a kitchen, and the Youth Lounge becomes a living room.  Your help is needed to set up the sleeping rooms, launder bedding, prepare an evening meal, play with the children, or spend the night at Wise Center.

Our volunteers will cook a holiday dinner, serve and clean up as approximately 250 guests are welcomed for dinner. 
(Ages 15+, ages 15-16 must be accompanied by an adult).
