Welcome! We are glad that you have expressed interest in joining with us and becoming a member of Wise Temple.
Each year, individuals and families like you consider making our congregation their spiritual, educational, and social home. Some are single people of every age looking for a deeper sense of community. Some are young couples preparing for marriage; others are families with small children looking ahead to religious school. Some, with grown children, have a renewed interest in Temple life. Still others are young adults looking to share their Jewish experiences with new friends, or other interfaith couples who are planning their future. Our members all came to Wise Temple with different needs, but as they feel more at home here and become more involved, each has found even more reasons and greater points of connection than even originally motivated them to join.
For all of these reasons and many others, prospective members contact Wise Temple. Yet, we know that contacting us for more information does not necessarily translate into a commitment to join us. We want to help you clarify your needs and to determine if we can add meaning to your lives by making Wise Temple your spiritual, educational and social Jewish home.
Why do increasing numbers of families and individuals join each year? Is it the rich tradition, the beautiful facilities, or the educational excellence? Perhaps it is the spiritual leadership, the commitment to social action, or the YoFI program for families with young children. Everyone has different reasons, but arrives at the same conclusion: "I feel welcome at Wise." We hope that you will find this true, as well.

Joining a Temple can be an especially difficult decision for young singles and families, who often ask themselves, "Can I afford membership?" and, "Will we know anyone or really feel a part of the congregation?" In an effort to reach out, Wise Temple has created the Young Adult Congregation (YAC). Comprised of singles, couples, and families, ages 22-35, YAC is a congregation within a congregation, offering a mix of religious, educational, and social programs.
For a very affordable, modest annual membership contribution, YAC members can participate in all Wise Temple activities and services. Becoming part of Wise Temple is a fun, informal way to make new friends and become a part of a warm and vibrant Jewish community.
Please call the temple at 513-793-2556 or click here to email us for information on regular membership or YAC membership.
