The Isaac M. Wise Temple is unique in offering two distinct physical settings for our members' spiritual fulfillment, Wise Center in Amberley Village and historic Plum Street Temple in downtown Cincinnati.

The Wise Center in Amberley Village, located on 30 wooded acres, is contemporary in design and houses the Religious School, a two hundred and sixty seat sanctuary, social hall, and rabbinic and administrative offices. This facility was dedicated in 1976. A major addition, which increased the size of the building by 50 percent, was rededicated in 1996.
Plum Street Temple
720 Plum Street

Constructed in 1866 in the Byzantine-Moorish style, Plum Street Temple is one of only two temples of this style in America and is the fountainhead of Reform Judaism in America. Plum Street Temple is not, however, a museum to the past; it is a living, dynamic sanctuary still retained by a congregation devoted to its maintenance and its continuation. The building is used on a nearly weekly basis for Sabbath services, programs, life-cycle events, and other religious functions.
It is an advantage of membership that we are able to offer two such diverse settings to our members, the contemporary and the majestic historic building.
